Metal Detecting & Treasure Hunting in the Northeast
i suppose you could refer to Sand Scratching as another method of beachcombing, as it is a method of searching the beaches, cliffs, rock pools & in the gullies that have been formed due to the actions of the sea… the search method used is visual, by using your eyes and knowledge of where things tend to wash up, due to their weight, aided by a little bit of modern wizardry in the form of a probe, to winkle out that lost and forgotten treasure…

Becoming a Metal Detectorist, started me on my Journey of Treasure Hunting all those years ago, & using a Metal Detector led me to every other form of Treasure Hunting, which seemed a natural progression as the opportunities arose... At the moment i am trying to understand where the years have gone, i have been Metal Detecting for over fifty years and counting, which has led me to reflect on the fact, that incredibly i have been writing in magazines or one blog or another plus the various websites for over thirty-five years...
