if we look at the images below, some of them jump out at you ready to be drawn or researched, but others you have to use your imagination to draw a damaged or incomplete artefact, as we see from the drawings on the right of the artefact, it is close-study and a little bit of imagination to get your eye in ready for the image to jump out of the page, and then you can start again, but this time with a genuine eye for the detail…

Becoming a Metal Detectorist, started me on my Journey of Treasure Hunting all those years ago, & using a Metal Detector led me to every other form of Treasure Hunting, which seemed a natural progression as the opportunities arose... At the moment i am trying to understand where the years have gone, i have been Metal Detecting for over fifty years and counting, which has led me to reflect on the fact, that incredibly i have been writing in magazines or one blog or another plus the various websites for over thirty-five years...
