How many times do you hear “oh i found it in my back garden” well for once i believe that this was found there, and such a nice gesture to return it back to the originals owners family….
The Medal is a 1914–15 Star, which is a British Empire campaign medal, awarded to all ranks of British and Imperial forces that had served in the many theatres of combat during the First World War against the Central European Powers during 1914 and 1915… as shown below with its original ribbon….

Becoming a Metal Detectorist, started me on my Journey of Treasure Hunting all those years ago, & using a Metal Detector led me to every other form of Treasure Hunting, which seemed a natural progression as the opportunities arose...
