
Normally it’s a milk bottle top or gold foil, that’s the reaction most people say they thought of, at the first sight of gold in the ground, well, a sweet wrapper is a bit different from the usual tosh, i suppose, every time i have found gold, i knew it was gold (-mind you don’t get me wrong, i have not dug that much gold or gold colored coins or artefacts, normally the gold i have had a signal from & dug out of the ground has been gold foil, but i can distinguish between them both the minute i see it in the ground -{-well that’s what i am trying to say anyway-}-)
The ring is made up of two entwined bands and bears an inscription in Medieval French ‘ieo vos tien foi tenes le moy’ which translates to ‘as I hold your faith, hold mine”
