Metal Detectors…

To go metal detecting we need a Metal Detector…

So “of course” we need a metal detector to go metal detecting, but which one to choose & why, that’s the million dollar question, and a lot depends on your own personal budget, do you buy second hand or brand new ? it is very tempting to buy one of many brand new Chinese metal detectors, as they are so cheap compared to the tried and trusted brand names, but they are cheap for a reason, all they want is your money, they are poor quality machines with poor build quality, electronics are not stable, and even if you could put up with everything just remember, the idea of a metal detector is to find metal…. and with the ones we have tested, you wont find nothing…

When purchasing anything research is vital, especially if you know nothing about what you are buying, even in todays society there are many clever ads ready to squeeze your money from you with reality being a bitter lesson & a hard one to swallow, hence no one can vouch for any non branded metal detectors, or there success, whilst Chinese imports are cheap, but they really don’t work beyond the confines of a living room…

Many metal detectors costing upwards of £ 900.00p can be bought quite cheaply after about three years, most of the green classic T2’s come back on the market for around £ 250 to £ 350 which is great for those in the market for a detector that performs out in the field, very rarely do many detectors hold the market value once used, be warned though make sure that it is a genuine one…
